The markers that I also bought were not a great quality - it’s ok - I had and bought some more - the “black” sometimes bled when using any of the markers - just an fyi - not sure if that was because of the “finish” of the paper itself or something else - would buy another -

So cool! I knew it would be big, but somehow my estimation was way off. My daughter is happily chipping away at coloring it a little bit every day. I wouldn't be surprised if she asked for another one as soon as she's done. We tacked it up with flat thumbtacks on her bedroom wall and she's coloring it right there in her room.

We hung the poster in the hall (cutting it to accommodate wood trim in our 116 year old school building) and sent out a message to all faculty and staff encouraging them to come by, bring their kids, etc. We especially encouraged adults who work with diverse learners to bring their students by. As you can see, not all students could color between the lines, but they could all add color. When asked, every child could point to the parts they colored. The middle school teachers are planning to order one for their grades, since their rooms were too far from ours to participate regularly. We'll definitely do this again.
